Autumn Leigh is a jazz vocalist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She sings regularly with The Jazz Conspiracy Big Band and Swingtet and performs throughout the Pittsburgh area.
Autumn’s love affair with jazz began when she began studying trumpet and singing vocals with her high school jazz ensemble. With a B.M. in Vocal Performance and Music Business, her studies included Classical training with Dr. William Adams and Judy Jenkins. Masterclass experiences with Maynard Ferguson, Marvin Hamlisch, and Robert Page and adjunct studies with the late Maureen Budway has shaped her as a performer. She has shared the stage with various local jazz, swing, and big band groups including the Sounds of Swing, Roger Barbour Band, and her own quartet featured on Westmoreland Jazz Society. She has performed and recorded commercially with The Kyle Simpson Jazz Collective. Autumn teamed up with local jazz great Lou Schrieber in 2010 to record the album Autumn Leaves in support of the VH1 Save the Music Foundation. She currently resides in Regent Square.
